This beautiful but deadly plant is the Japanese Yew. The needles and seeds from the Japanese Yew and other yews are highly poisonous to horses.
Many times clippings from yews are used to make Christmas wreaths. If you are hanging them around your barn make sure they are never where horses can reach them.
