The Animal Health Foundation Celebrates 25 Years of Helping Horses!
The Animal Health Foundation (AHF) will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday, November 21, 2009 with an all-day Equine Laminitis Conference and a dinner-auction fundraiser party that evening. All activities will take place at the Holiday Inn at Six Flags, just southwest of St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri.

Researchers currently funded by AHF will present the latest knowledge in the field of equine laminitis. Conference speakers include Drs. Chris Pollitt, University of Queensland; Phil Johnson, University of Missouri; Samantha Brooks, Cornell University; Amy Rucker, private practitioner; and Kathryn Watts, Forage specialist.
Horse owners as well as veterinarians and farriers are invited to attend the conference which will offer 7.5 hours continuing education credit to veterinarians. Please see the Conference Program for further information on topics to be presented.
The cost of the conference is $150. Lunch is provided and will include the showing of a film by the Australian Brumby Research Unit, ‚ÄúLearning from Wild Horses‚Äù. A Speakers‚Äô Reception also follows the close of the conference.
All proceeds from this conference will fund equine laminitis research, just as funds from all past endeavors of the non-profit organization have been used – to Free the Horse from Laminitis.
A dinner party and silent & live auctions will take place that evening. The cost of the fund-raiser party is $75 and will feature dinner, entertainment and horse and farm-oriented auction items as well as artwork, jewelry, trips, tickets and other enticing gift ideas that could be considered for holiday shopping lists. Guests are also invited to the Speakers‚Äô Reception before the party begins.

for $200 which includes all activities of the day and evening.
