Emergency Care Policy for Non-Clients
At Mid-Rivers Equine Centre, we’re committed to providing timely, expert care for horses in medical crisis. To continue serving our equine community with the highest standard of care, we have updated our emergency services policy for non-clients.
What’s Changing?
If you have not had a horse seen by one of our veterinarians 2023, 2024, or 2025 emergency care will now be provided at our clinic only. This means that, in an emergency, you will need to trailer your horse to our facility for treatment.
Already a Client?
If you’re an existing client simply adding a new horse to your account, this policy does not apply. You may continue to schedule both routine and emergency care as usual.
Why This Policy Matters
This change supports both patient safety and clinical efficiency. It helps us:
- Allocate emergency resources effectively
- Deliver consistent, high-quality veterinary care
Thank You for Understanding
We understand how important your horse’s health is to you. We appreciate your understanding as we make changes that support the well-being of both our patients and veterinary team. These updates help us provide the highest standard of care to every horse that comes through our doors.
If you have questions about this policy or whether it applies to you, feel free to contact our team.
